Did you know that 85% of the jobs that will exists in 2030 haven’t been invented yet?

Last year the ‘Institute for the Future and Dell’ released a paper that explored the impacts of emerging technologies. They looked at things like Artificial Intelligence, virtual reality, and cloud computing and concluded that these, along with others, are likely to have a large impact on society and work in the next 10 to 20 years.

In the coming years Omaha will need a workforce that is ready for these changes. Industries, even those that aren’t directly related to tech, will need a workforce with basic coding skills. Hello Code can help!

Hello Code is a program for those interested in exploring career options in the tech industry. It provides a low-barrier entry to experimenting with computer programming by building a website over the course of five weeks. Students attend five in-person classes on Sunday morning from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, and complete online assignments during the week.

Our fall session will run from October 7th to November 4th. The application will open on September 6th and close on September 30th. Hello Code is completely free, and the application process is very competitive. Please make sure you spend some time telling us why you want to learn programming and how you can benefit from it when you apply.
