Littles Lab: Let’s Construct and Engineer!
June 1, 9:30 - 10:15 AM
Date: Saturday, June 1, 2019
Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Help us start the summer off right at Do Space! Do Space is dedicated to combating the loss of academic skills kids experience over the summer. During the Summer Kickoff, youth ages 3-12 can pick up their Do Space Summer 2019 Passport, and teens and adults ages 13 and up can grab their Do Lists. Learn more about upcoming summer programs and contests, as well as participate in hands-on previews of our summer programming for kids, adults, seniors and everyone in-between. If it's your first visit to Do Space, come explore all our space has to offer, from 3D printers to free educational programs. All are welcome!
More about our Passports:
The Do Space Summer Passport program provides youth in the community engaging and fun technology-driven learning experiences all summer long. Each passport comes on a lanyard and includes activities and award challenges designed to stimulate learning in the out-of-school months. There are four program categories available to passport holders: Explore, Learn, Make, and Code.
More about our Do List:
The Do List inspires a call to action for our older members and the creative community to compute, discover, experiment, design, create, build, generate, and more using resources available at Do Space. Participants ages 13 and up will receive a free journal and an educational Do List that leverages our summer teen and adult classes and a wide variety of computer and 3D Lab activities. Those who complete at least three items from the Do List will be entered to win a prize.
