Nebraska Enterprise Fund is thrilled to partner with Digital Promise and Facebook to offer this 3 hour Social Media Marketing Workshop.

This workshop is free for everyone and open to the public. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a young or seasoned professional, or a college student, or if you’re just curious about digital marketing, Facebook and Instagram, come join us!

In the workshop, you will learn the basics of social media marketing using Facebook and Instagram and have the opportunity to earn four micro-credentials (digital badges) that demonstrate the skills they have learned. Workshops are designed to be short, hands-on, and practical. Students who plan on taking this workshop should expect to attend the entire sessions with the goal of obtaining the micro-credentials.

Over the 3 hours, students will develop a Facebook page and Instagram account for a local community organization or business of their choice (it can be your personal organization/business); use that page to create awareness, drive traffic, and/or attract customers; and create ad campaigns in support of that page or account.

The workshop is organized into four modules that take students through the skills they will need to do basic social media marketing for an organization or business. After each module, students can earn a micro-credential.

Those four modules are:

● Social Media Marketing Basics

● Marketing with Facebook Pages

● Marketing with Facebook Ads

● Marketing with Instagram

Please note that attendees should be prepared and must attend the entire session.

This is an adult program. Kids 16 and up are permitted to attend.

Membership cards are now required for entry into Do Space classes and programs, so please bring your Do Space card with you to class. As part of our programs and events attendees may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes, such as social media, informational presentations and on-site signage. Please let your program host know if this is of concern, and thank you for your support of Do Space.
