Mystery Code Society

Do Space has partnered with Mystery Code Society to bring coding classes to students in grades 6-12 who identify as femme or female. This includes students who were not assigned female at birth and those who identify as femme, gender fluid, or gender non‐conforming.

Applications are now open for our six-week JavaScript course where students will learn code fundamentals including variables, conditionals, methods, loops, and objects and events.

Participants do NOT need prior coding experience OR a computer of their own to take this class.

This 6 week course meets at Do Space on Sundays from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, from October 6 – November 10.

This application deadline is September 29th.

Additionally in January, we are launching a twelve-week game development program for girls where they will learn about game design principles, such as game objects, sprites, inputs, physics, and the camera, as well as software engineering principles like events, conditionals, and functions.
